

Pinto Beans

Ingredients
- Water
- 4 cups pinto beans, dry
- 4 slices thick cut bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp For Real® Salt' n' Peppa
Preparation
Prep time: 15 min | Cook time: 2 hours|
Rinse beans and pick out any broken or discolored beans. Put beans in Dutch oven over high heat. Cover with water plus about 2 inches. Mix in bacon pieces and For Real® Salt 'n' Peppa.
Cover and bring to a boil. Bring down to a simmer and cook for about 2 hours or until beans are cooked through. Add additional seasoning, salt and/or pepper to taste.
