Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients

½ cup butter

8 cups mini marshmallows

8 cups Rice Krispies

12 drops Crayola Green Food Color

5 ounces chocolate-flavored melting wafers

Chocolate sprinkles

Candy eyes

Black decorating gel

Preparation

  1. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat.
  4. Stir in the Crayola Green Food Color.
  5. Add the Rice Krispies and mix until fully coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press into an even layer. Let cool
    completely.
  7. Cut into rectangles.
  8. Melt the chocolate wafers according to package directions. Dip one end of each bar into the chocolate, then top with sprinkles.
  9. Add candy eyes and draw a mouth with the black decorating gel.
  10. Let set for about 1 hour before serving.
