Christmas Wreath Treats

  • Snack
  • Dessert
About 15 Wreaths

Ingredients

4 tablespoons salted butter

1 (10-ounce) package mini marshmallows

1 teaspoon Crayola Green Food Colors

5 cups crispy corn cereal flakes

Nonstick cooking spray (for your hands)

Mini red candies (such as mini M&M’s) for decorating

Preparation

  1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large saucepan over low heat,
melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir until smooth and fully
    melted.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in Crayola Green Food Colors until the mixture is
    evenly tinted.
  3. Fold in the corn cereal flakes, stirring gently until every piece is coated in
that bright, colorful marshmallow mix. Let it cool slightly so it’s easier
    to handle.
  4. Lightly spray your hands with nonstick spray. Scoop about ⅓ cup of the mixture,
shape it into a small log, and connect the ends to form a wreath. Place on
the prepared baking sheets. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  5. Press three mini red candies onto each wreath to look like holly berries. Let
sit until firm, about 15 minutes.

Creative Tip

Try adding a dusting of edible glitter or a bow made from
licorice string for extra sparkle and personality, because when Crayola colors
are involved, more creativity is always better!
