Chocolate Egg Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

Preparation

Make the cupcakes:

  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions.
  • Line cupcake pans with liners and bake as directed.
  • Let cool completely.

Make the frosting:

  • In a large bowl, beat the butter, milk, and Adams Best® Vanilla Flavor until combined.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well between each addition.
  • Continue beating on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add more milk if the frosting is too thick or more powdered sugar if it's too thin.
  • Mix in a few drops of Crayola Colors of Kindness Green Food Coloring until you reach your desired shade.

Assemble:

  • Pipe or spread frosting onto cooled cupcakes. 
  • Top each cupcake with chocolate egg candies and festive sprinkles.
