Butter Cake

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1 stick melted butter

½ teaspoon Adams Butter Flavor

1 teaspoon Adams Pure Vanilla Extract

2 eggs

1 pound  powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 eggs

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, Adams Butter Flavor, and Adams Pure Vanilla Extract until combined. The batter will be thick.
  2. Spread the batter evenly into a greased 9×13-inch metal pan.
  3. In another bowl, mix the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and spread gently to cover.

Bake
at 350°F for 30–40 minutes. The center should still be slightly gooey—do not
overbake
