Butter Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick melted butter
½ teaspoon Adams Butter Flavor
1 teaspoon Adams Pure Vanilla Extract
2 eggs
1 pound powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, Adams Butter Flavor, and Adams Pure Vanilla Extract until combined. The batter will be thick.
- Spread the batter evenly into a greased 9×13-inch metal pan.
- In another bowl, mix the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and spread gently to cover.
Bake
at 350°F for 30–40 minutes. The center should still be slightly gooey—do not
overbake
