Chocolate Egg Cupcakes

Make the Cupcakes:

Ingredients:
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
Directions:
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions. Line cupcake pans with liners and bake as directed. Let cool completely.

Make the Frosting:

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk (plus more if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon Adams Clear Vanilla
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • Crayola Colors of Kindness Green Food Coloring
  • Chocolate egg candies
  • Festive sprinkles
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, beat the butter, milk, and Adams Clear Vanilla until combined.
2. Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well between each addition.
3. Continue beating on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add more milk if the frosting is too thick or more powdered sugar if it's too thin.
4. Mix in a few drops of Crayola Colors of Kindness Green Food Coloring until you reach your desired shade.

Assemble:

Directions:
1. Pipe or spread frosting onto cooled cupcakes. 
2. Top each cupcake with chocolate egg candies and festive sprinkles.
